Terms of service

The Accelerator Mentorship program is run by Entrepreneurs' Organization of South Florida, Inc. (“EO South Florida”, “we”). It pairs chapter members who volunteer as mentors with participants in the chapter’s Accelerator program, and gives each pair a private online workspace to plan and track a monthly meeting rhythm. The software is provided to the chapter by MaximyzeAI LLC.

• Participation is by invitation from the chapter. You may only create an account with an email address the chapter has placed on the program roster.
• You must be at least 18 and able to represent the business you describe in your intake survey.
• Keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been misused.
• Provide accurate information in your intake survey and keep your contact details current.

• Mentors are volunteers sharing their own experience. Nothing shared in the program is legal, financial, tax, investment or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
• Neither the chapter nor any mentor guarantees any business outcome.
• Each participant remains responsible for their own business decisions.
• The chapter may end a pairing or a person's participation at any time, for example if the rhythm is not being kept or if conduct falls short of the standards below.

Goals, action items and session notes recorded in a pairing’s workspace are visible only to the two people in that pairing. Program administrators cannot read them. In return, you agree to treat what your mentorship partner shares with you, inside or outside the workspace, as confidential, and not to use it for any purpose other than the mentorship. This obligation continues after the pairing ends.

You agree to:

• treat your mentorship partner and program administrators with respect;
• use the program only for its mentoring purpose, not to solicit investment, sell services, recruit employees or promote unrelated ventures;
• avoid conflicts of interest, and disclose any that arise, such as a competing business or an existing commercial relationship;
• not attempt to access other people's data, probe or disrupt the service, or use automated tools against it.

The program sends emails about pairings, meetings and surveys. If you provide a mobile number you also agree to receive text messages for the same purposes. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help, or change your preferences from your account page. Email reminders are part of the program and continue while you take part.

Connecting a Google or Microsoft calendar is optional. If you do, you authorise the program to read your free/busy times and to create, update or cancel events for mentorship meetings you book through it, as described in the privacy policy. You can disconnect at any time from your account page.

You own what you write in the program. You grant the chapter and its software provider a licence to store and display it as needed to run the program. Program administrators may see meeting metadata and survey answers; they never see workspace notes.

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

The service and the program are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither EO South Florida, its officers, directors, volunteers and mentors, nor MaximyzeAI LLC will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue or business, arising out of the program or your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
