Accelerator Mentorship
Privacy policy
Effective September 25, 2026
This policy explains what information the EO South Florida Accelerator Mentorship program collects through https://eoamentorship.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
The Accelerator Mentorship program is run by Entrepreneurs' Organization of South Florida, Inc. (“EO South Florida”, “we”), a Florida not-for-profit corporation at 7580 NW 5th Street, Suite 16987, Plantation, FL 33318. The software is built and operated for the chapter by MaximyzeAI LLC, which processes information only on our behalf and under our instructions.
Questions about this policy or your information: Tony Wright, tony@maximyzeai.com.
Who this program is for
The program is invite-only. It is open to EO South Florida chapter members who volunteer as mentors and to participants in the chapter’s Accelerator program. You cannot create an account unless the chapter has added you to the program roster. The program is not directed to anyone under 18.
Information we collect
- Roster details from the chapter. Your name, email address, mobile number, company, title, industry and business address, taken from the chapter’s member and Accelerator lists.
- Your intake survey. What you tell us about your business, the areas where you can help or want help, meeting preferences, travel radius and availability.
- Sign-in details. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft we receive your name, email address and profile picture from that provider. With an emailed link we use only your email address.
- Mentorship activity. Meeting dates, formats and whether meetings took place; the goals, action items and notes you and your mentorship partner record in your shared workspace.
- Calendar information, only if you connect a calendar. See “Calendar access” below.
- Communications. A log of the emails and text messages the program sends you, including delivery status, so we can avoid sending duplicates.
- Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept by our hosting providers for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To propose and manage mentor pairings, using business location, focus areas, industry and meeting preferences.
- To introduce you to your mentorship partner and give you both a private workspace.
- To send reminders about meetings, surveys and the monthly meeting rhythm, and to alert program administrators when a pairing needs a human check-in.
- To report to program administrators on participation, such as whether monthly meetings are happening.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone outside the program except as described here.
Who can see what
Confidentiality between a mentor and mentee is central to this program and is enforced in the software, not just by policy.
- Goals, action items and session notes are visible only to the two people in that pairing. Program administrators cannot read them. Notes you mark as private are visible only to you.
- Program administrators (the chapter’s Accelerator and mentorship leads) can see the roster, survey answers, pairings, and meeting metadata such as when a meeting was scheduled and whether it happened.
- Your mentorship partner can see your name, company, contact details, and the survey answers relevant to the pairing.
Calendar access
Connecting a Google or Microsoft calendar is optional and can be done when you sign in with that provider or later from your account page. When you connect, the program:
- reads only free/busy times, to suggest meeting slots that work for both of you. It never reads event titles, descriptions, attendees or attachments, and it does not store any information from your calendar;
- for a connected Google calendar, that is all: meeting invitations are sent to you by email as standard calendar invitations, and nothing is written to your calendar by the program;
- for a connected Microsoft calendar, also creates, updates or cancels events for mentorship meetings you book through the program, so Outlook can send the invite;
- stores the access credentials the provider issues, encrypted, solely for those purposes.
You can disconnect a calendar at any time from your account page, which deletes the stored credentials, and you can also revoke access from your Google or Microsoft account settings.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the calendar features described above, is never used for advertising, and is never transferred to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
Text messages
By providing your mobile number and completing the intake survey you agree to receive text messages from the program about meeting reminders, survey reminders and pairing updates. Message frequency varies and is typically a few messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also turn text messages off from your account page. Opting out of texts does not affect your participation in the program; you will continue to receive reminders by email.
Mobile numbers and text-message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the service. Each processes information only to provide its service to us:
- Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), hosted in the United States.
- Vercel (web hosting and scheduled jobs).
- Resend (email delivery).
- Twilio (text-message delivery).
- Google and Microsoft (sign-in, and calendar access if you connect a calendar).
- The US Census Bureau geocoder, which converts business addresses to coordinates for distance-based matching.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the safety of participants, or to enforce our terms. Program administrators are chapter volunteers bound by the confidentiality rules above.
How long we keep it
We keep program records for the duration of your participation and for up to two years afterwards so the chapter can run future cohorts and report on the program. Calendar credentials are deleted when you disconnect a calendar or your account is removed. Communication logs are kept for the same period as program records. You can ask us to delete your information sooner; see “Your choices”.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Calendar credentials are additionally encrypted with a key held only by the application. Access to the database is restricted by row-level security rules so that each person can only read the records they are entitled to. Sign-in uses Google, Microsoft or a one-time emailed link; optional two-factor authentication is available from your account page.
Your choices
- Update your contact details and email or text preferences from your account page.
- Disconnect a calendar from your account page at any time.
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- Ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to leave the program, by emailing tony@maximyzeai.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will post the new policy here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
